INVESTMENT APPROACH

INVESTMENT APPROACH

Partner with management teams – With 20+ years of experience investing in smaller middle market businesses, we are active, supportive investors. We offer CEOs autonomy, and the ability to act quickly and decisively. We provide broader perspective, and financial support to grow a business.

Partner with investors – We are open and transparent. Investments in smaller middle market businesses offer the prospect of higher returns, but rarely proceed linearly, up and to the right. We encourage our management teams to take action to accomplish investment objectives, and enable a “good news fast, bad news faster” communications culture. We provide sound, seasoned support.

Develop scalable organization and infrastructure – We help executives at formerly founder-owned businesses or orphaned corporate divisions to design an organization, build out teams to drive growth, and implement the systems to support it.

Drive organic growth – If a company becomes more valuable to more customers, it will become a more valuable investment. We work with management teams to identify opportunities for expansion, and then invest in the personnel, equipment, and facilities to support those initiatives, and maintain a capital structure with the flexibility to allow for it.

Acquire strategic add-ons – We work with management teams to identify, connect with, and execute strategically cohesive add-on acquisitions.

Tap the experts – We have a network of former CEOs, as well as executives with functional expertise in operations, marketing, ecommerce, and product development, standing ready to help accelerate growth at RGP’s investments.

Create a Resonant Story – Resonant Growth Partners helps management teams of leading smaller middle market companies in our selected sectors to create a Resonant Story for the next owner, using a proven, methodical approach to value creation. A company with a Resonant Story has a talented and deep management team, has demonstrated organic growth and made investments to support it, has successfully integrated add-on acquisitions, and has identified new actionable growth opportunities.
